Message for Year 6 Students:
Next week you will sit your SATs, you have all worked very hard and we just want to let you know that no matter what we are extremely proud of you all.
Remember the SATs test does not assess all of what makes each of you special and unique. The levels you will get will tell you something, but they will not tell you everything. So while you are preparing for the tests, just remember that there is no way to test all of the amazing and awesome things that make you you.
Breakfast Club for Year 6
As the children will be starting the tests at 9am, we are offering the children the chance to come to our breakfast club for free. Breakfast club starts at 7.45am and we ask that children arrive no later than 8.15am so that we can provide them a breakfast.
If your child does not come to breakfast club, please ensure that they arrive in school on time, 8.45am.
Any questions regarding Breakfast Club please contact the school office.

Nursery trip to Imagine That in Liverpool on Wednesday 18th May
The children in Nursery will be going on their school trip to Liverpool’s “Imagine that” (Imagine That Link) on Wednesday 18th May 2022. This trip is to a children’s discovery centre where the children will have opportunities to interact with a range of imaginative, creative and scientific activities. Total cost of visit including admission charges and transport is £12.50. Please pay and consent for the trip on Parent Pay by 16th May 2022.
Jubilee Celebrations
To mark the Queen’s landmark Platinum Jubilee this year, Broomwood Primary School are going to mark the occasion with a fun filled day on Wednesday 25th May. Throughout the day children will have some time on an inflatable, sing some celebration songs, learn a dance, and have some close-up entertainment in their classroom.
We are asking all children and staff to wear red, white and/or blue on the day
During the afternoon, the whole school will then have a picnic lunch on the field whilst being entertained by the Amazing Andre. As this is a special occasion, the kitchen will be putting together a picnic box for the children and those who usually have school dinner will receive one. Those children who usually have packed lunch will still be able to bring those however we are also giving them the opportunity to order a picnic box from the kitchen if they would prefer.
Thank you to everyone that completed the form regarding the picnic boxes.
